I AM THE MOST HUMBLE PERSON I KNOW

I even act like I'm average height so people won't feel bad.

Story of my life

I'm sick of making excuses of why people shouldn't look up to me.

I'm not to young, I'm not too inexperienced, I don't not know enough to take charge

Tomorrow is Today! Be who you want to be in the future, start right f...ing now.

So, I might be moving to Chicago soon.  As in sooner rather than later.  Who saw that one coming?  Probably not anyone who's reading this because I haven't really been keeping this thing up to date, can't make any guarentees about the future either, updating my xanga wasn't one of my new year's resolutions.

By the way...there's a Survivor casting call in Gary on the 20th at the Majestic Star casino.  Anyone else going to hang out with rest of my breed of nerd next Saturday?

A Comedy or a Tragedy?

Ryan Bruxvoort sat typing at his computer while listening to a marching tune emitting from the speakers.  He had contemplated posting on his xanga site when driving home from the 7:10 showing of Stranger than Fiction and had decided that it was a good idea.  In his slow wandering thoughts he decided that life seemed to have more meaning when you put life in the third person and describe exactly what you are doing in a more literary way than in daily life.  It was much easier for him to discover his own motivations for what he was doing and the first person seemed far too preachy a way to encourage everyone else to try it.  Ryan wanted to post more, but, unfortunately, he needed to get enough sleep so that he wouldn't drive off the side of the road on the way to his paper route in the morning, a job that had dwindled to a single week remaining before he was released from his contract.  On top of this Mr Bruxvoort was feeling the first symptoms of a sore throat and cold coming on.  Extra sleep would only benefit the alleviation of aforementioned symptoms.  He finished typing to the sound of "What the world needs now", undressed, turned out the lights and drifted into bed and soon after, sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

The 31st Annual Pumpkin Plod

6 mile race today to preemptively work off my several thousand calories (the longest consecutive distance race I've ever run).  It went well.

My goal was 42-45 minutes.  I ran a 43:27.  Each mile got faster.  I started with a 7:42.

I finished 70th overall (of 226).  53rd among men. 13th in my age group.

The fastest man was 30:53.  The fastest woman was 35:??.

It was a wonderful day and the weather was amazing for a long distance race.

I feel like I'm just exaserbating the situation of holidays coming earlier and earlier, but...

Does anyone have any ideas or plans for New Year's yet?

My supervisor wants to know if anyone is willing to work some overtime hours and there are too few people in my department to slip by unnoticed.  If the party's over at 2 AM and I have to be at work at 8 that wouldn't be any differant than my paper route schedule.  Someone may have already taken one for the team so I'm still open to any suggestions, except going to New York (sorry Dave).
